Nurses Play Key Role at InaugurationWhen Barack Obama was sworn into office as the 44th president of the United States on Jan. 20, a crowd of millions braved the icy weather to watch. Among those hardy souls were about 300 health care volunteers, many of them nurses, who were stationed in specially equipped tents around the National Mall and surrounding areas so that anyone who needed immediate care could receive it.
