March 27, 2012 - The AONE Foundation for Nursing Leadership Research & Education (AONE Foundation) recently announced the recipients of its 2012 Research Seed Grant Awards. The recipients were selected from grant proposals submitted by both AONE members and nonmembers. The funding will facilitate research in the area of nursing leadership development.
The recipients were honored during the AONE 45th Annual Meeting and Exposition, which took place March 21-24 in Boston.
- Ann Mayo, RN, DNSc, FAAN, professor, Hahn School of Nursing & Health Science, University of San Diego, San Diego, Calif. Research Project: A Research Study to Psychometrically Test a Measure of Leadership Development Outcomes
- Teri Wicker, PhD, RN, director of professional practice, Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center, Sun City, Ariz. Research Project: Ready to Lead? Describing Transformational Leadership in Frontline Nurses
