Advanced nursing certificates can open new doors in your nursing career, as they demonstrate expertise and commitment to a particular field.

Pursuing a degree from a university is the best step to take if you want to move into nursing administration or education. Many clinical specialists are also required to have advanced degrees. If you are a diploma nurse or have an associate's degree, you may wish to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in order to advance your career.
